Interpretation and Visitor Experience Plan, produced with Ian Parkin, this involved detailed trialling of a methodology for assessing visitor management developed by the Forestry Commission. For each cluster of sites we examined the pre-visit experience, the point of arrival, the actual and potential gateways, dispersed gateways, boundary signage and sources of information. In this way duplication of information whether print or physical on site infrastructure can be minimised. A detailed interpretation plan was produced with costed implementation framework. This led to a £2m HLF implementation project, for AONB, Forestry Commission Wales and Monmouthshire County Council.
