Wye Valley AONB

Audit of more than 2000 archaeological sites throughout the Wye Valley AONB and Strategy for Conservation and Public Access produced with the University of Birmingham Archaeology Unit. The sites were assessed for accessibility, We carried out a systematic analysis of the distribution and connectivity of the sample provided and commented on potential gateways and connectivity between sites and groups of thematically or geographically linked sites. In order that visitors could be prompted to discover more of the cultural landscape of the Wye Valley and be empowered to make discoveries for themselves.
